Text description provided by the architects. This project concerns the renovation of a delapidated house, composed of a large living area, a kitchen and a music room on the ground floor and on the first floor, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our proposal can be compared to an archaeological dig, as a multitude of contextual interventions interacting with the existing elements.

在过去，这个房子是连续居住的两个创造性艺术家：一个雕塑家和一个铁匠。这些前辈虽然是匿名的，也没有装腔作势，但他们离开家的时候，却到处都是他们的存在和试验。

In the past, this house was consecutively inhabited by two creative artists: a sculptor and a blacksmith. Though anonymous and with no pretensions, these predecessors left the house scattered with their presence and experimentations.

A workshop was attached to the house: “a terrible mess”, made up of cluttered layers of materials from different times. This workshop space is has been connected to the living area by removing the separation wall, soon to be turned into a large and appealing kitchen.
