当清晨的第一缕阳光从楼梯间照入客厅，业主便开启了一天的日常。美好，从这一缕阳光开始。设计师刻意在楼梯间，留出一面白墙，又似乎是一面“影壁”，让光影在这面影壁上肆意涂抹。

                            


                            

                                
                                                                    

                                                                                                                    

                            

                        

                            

                                
When the first ray of sunshine in the morning shines into the living room from the staircase, the owner will start the day. The beauty starts from this ray of sunshine. 光是一切美好的本源。为了引光入室，设计师改造了整个房屋的构造，将朝南的墙面尽可能地打开，改造成大的落地玻璃窗。甚至将朝南的房间改造成公共会客厅，使阳光充分地照进室内。何谓“美好时光”，无非时间和光线，向阳而居，体味生活之美，艺术之美，自然之美！

                            


                            

                                
                                                                    

                                                                                                                    

                            

                        

                            

                                
God said that if there is light, there is light. Light is the origin of all good things. To attract light into the house, the designer transformed the whole house structure, opened the south-facing wall as much as possible to create a large floor-to-ceiling window. Even transformed the south-facing room into a public reception hall, so that the sun could fully shine into the room. 重新规划设定的动线，打破原有结构的封闭孤立，使空间足够开放。通过光影变化，空间更加生动自然，诠释空间带给人独有的体验与感受。整体布局采用中轴线的连通方式，重新构建了空间关系，将原先朝北的客厅整体迁移到向阳的南边，使客厅成为阳光最充裕的场所。

                            


                            

                                
                                                                    

                                                                                                                    

                            

                        

                            

                                
The re-planned set moving line broke the isolation of the original structure and made the space open enough. Through the change of light and shadow, space is more vivid and natural, explaining the unique experience and feelings. The volume layout adopted the connection mode of the central axis to reconstruct the spatial relationship. Spatial relations are extending and progressing. The kitchen, dining room, living room, and study are like branches and leaves on a tree trunk. They circulate but grow separately. The space is presented in the same dimension. Sunlight moves through the shadows of the trees, spreading into the depths of space. 楼梯间既联通了一二楼的空间，又赋予它们不同的生命力和使命。以质朴水泥材质营造的楼梯让空间回归到原始状态，阳光将露台的竹影投射进来。光影随着时间而变幻，跳跃在不同的空间、物件中，那些器物、家具、织物隐藏于阴翳中，却因此而获得新的生命力。

                            


                            

                                
                                                                    

                                                                                                                    

                            

                        

                            

                                
The stairwell not only connects the spaces on the first and second floors，but also endows them with different vitality and missions. The stairs made of plain cement return the space to its original state. The sun sprinkles the bamboo shadow on the terrace. The light and shadow change with time and jump in different spaces and objects. 打破原有的封闭格局，将厨房变成一个开放空间。宽阔的中岛台拓展了空间的用途，形成新的亲子互动场所。烹饪也因此成为了一种享受，新的烹饪方式随之出现。中岛台的玻璃吊灯使光线产生流动感，设计师用深黑色的毛石墙面、烟熏胡桃木饰面以及火烧石质感的岩板台面，让餐厨空间变得深沉起来。

                            


                            

                                
                                                                    

                                                                                                                    

                            

                        

                            

                                
Break the original closed pattern and turn the kitchen into an open space. The wide island platform expands the use of space and forms a new place for parent-child interaction. Cooking became a pleasure, and new ways of cooking emerged. The glass chandelier on the island platform creates a sense of light flow. The designer used dark black rubble walls, smoked walnut veneer and the stone countertop made the kitchen space deep.

设计师将窗台向外拓展，将窗户改造成一个立体取景框。在窗台上用蕨类植物、青苔还有泰山石塑造了一个微缩的园林造景，室内的近景以及窗外的远景组成一幅天然的风景画，模糊了室内和室外的界限，将自然景观引入室内，拉近了空间与自然的关系。在这里，后院的园林尽收眼底，设计师在每个主要空间外部都设置了一个景观空间，要么阳台要么窗台，通过这种可以呼吸的空间让室内和环境产生联通。

                            


                            

                                
                                                                    

                                                                                                                    

                            

                        

                            

                                
The designer expanded the windowsill outward, transformed the window into a three-dimensional viewfinder frame. Created a miniature garden landscape on the windowsill with ferns, moss, and Taishan stone. The indoor close-up view and the perspective outside the window form a natural landscape painting, blurring the boundary between indoor and outdoor, introducing the natural landscape into the interior, narrowing the relationship between space and nature. Here, the garden in the backyard has a panoramic view. The designer has set up a landscape space outside each main space, either balcony or windowsill. A study is a place for the owner to work at home and for children to study. The super large desk can accommodate three members of a family at the same time. The meaning of space is no longer just a living container. What is home, when the sun sets and the weary birds return to their nests? From a biological point of view, the most essential meaning of housing is the place to sleep. The color of the boys room is calm and pure. The hanging painting is a photographic work taken by the male owners underwater diving, which seems to be ideal for children. Light and shadow spread wantonly in space. By borrowing light, we can observe the natural shape. Abstract and concrete extend different emotional myths in the flow of light and shadow. FOSHAN TOPWAY DESIGN was co-founded by Wang Zhike and Li Xiaoshui in 2002. Based on modernist aesthetics and guided by naturalism, FOSHAN TOPWAY DESIGN conceives space suitable for the current context and explores the trend of future space as well. It combines Oriental artistic conception with Western structural aesthetics, and strikes a balance among functionality, humanism and art, intending to create unique, poetic space.
