业主夫妇与我的经历类似，年幼时都久居北方，工作后来到重庆。北方平原多，所以多院子，久居北方的人对院子一般都有着特殊的感情。这种感情源于院子在中国文化中的特殊地位，以及它所承载的深厚情感和记忆。院子不仅是物理空间上的一个场所，更是情感的寄托和记忆的载体。它承载了一代又一代人的童年回忆和家庭团聚的欢乐时光，以及人与自然和谐相处的宁静生活，因此他们选中了这套带有前后小院的房子。

The homeowner couple is similar to me. They lived in the north for a long time when they were young and came to Chongqing after working. There are many plains in the north, so there are many courtyards. People who have lived in the north for a long time generally have a special affection for courtyards. This emotion stems from the special status of the courtyard in Chinese culture, as well as the profound emotions and memories it carries. A yard is not only a physical space, but also a carrier of emotions and memories. It carries the childhood memories of generation after generation and the joyful moments of family reunion, as well as the peaceful life of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, so they chose this house with front and back courtyards.

无论是春天刚刚开始，还是四季更迭，院子都是人们感受自然，享受生活的重要空间，也是中国人情感上难以割舍的一部分。所以对于他们来说，院子不仅仅是一个物理空间，更是一种情感上的纽带，连接着过去、现在和未来。

Whether its the beginning of spring or the changing seasons, the courtyard is an important space for people to feel nature and enjoy life, and it is also an emotional part that Chinese people find difficult to let go of. So for them, the yard is not just a physical space, but also an emotional bond that connects the past, present, and future.

这套房子虽不是业主夫妇在重庆的第一套住宅，但一定是一个能让他们把心安放的地方，更是能承载着更多美好记忆的地方。所以如何将室内空间与室外小院联通，怎样去构建一些属于他们的生活场景，是我思考的核心。

Although this house is not the first residence of the homeowner couple in Chongqing, it is definitely a place where they can rest their hearts and carry more beautiful memories. So how to connect indoor spaces with outdoor courtyards and how to create some living scenes that belong to them are the core of my thinking.

对于花园和客厅的联结，我们希望打破常规的推拉门方式，用更加通透、灵活的方式呈现自由开合的一种状态。不需要高差，不需要门槛，小朋友可以自由安全的穿越室内外奔跑，下雨时可以随意的躺在在沙发上听听雨声，夜晚时在客厅席地而坐，观赏夜空，任由微风拂面，自在而惬意。这，不正是儿时的小院吗？

For the connection between the garden and the living room, we hope to break away from the conventional sliding door opening method and present a more transparent and flexible state of free opening and closing. No height difference or threshold is required. Children can run freely and safely through indoor and outdoor spaces. When it rains, they can lie on the sofa and listen to the sound of the rain. At night, they can sit on the living room floor, enjoy the night sky, and let the gentle breeze brush their faces, feeling comfortable and relaxed. Isnt this the childhood courtyard?

正因为他们都希望这是一处自己喜欢的场所，所以硬装的风格上，我都以极简的方式去呈现，软装及饰品的选择则充分照顾女主人的喜好，选择更加怀旧和更加经典的家具和艺术品来搭配，用适度的对比来照顾彼此喜好，各种肌理与质感充分混合，构建出只属于他们的独一无二的空间状态和氛围。

Because they all hope this is a place they like, I present the hard decoration style in a minimalist way, while the selection of soft decoration and accessories fully takes into account the preferences of the hostess. We choose more nostalgic and classic furniture and artworks to match, and use appropriate contrast to cater to each others preferences. Various textures and textures are fully mixed, creating a unique spatial state and atmosphere that belongs only to them.

时光如同缓缓流淌的小溪，在岁月的长河中悄无声息地穿行。希望这样一处有院子的居所，能成为业主夫妇漂泊多年后在重庆的居心之地。

Time flows like a slow stream, silently traversing through the long river of time. I hope this residence with a yard can become the home of the homeowner couple after years of wandering in Chongqing.
