Nestled between Tuhola Forest and Kashubi Lake, House on the Hill is a perfect blend of modern architecture and local tradition. Designed by architect Andrzej Ciemiewski and elaborately-crafted by Marysia Gajewska of Studio Iskry and Micha? Niedo and Umpire, the residence showcases the harmony of natural beauty and humanity.

the design philosophy of House on the Hill is to integrate the building with the surrounding environment, emphasizing a dialogue with nature. The house is surrounded by a garden full of native Polish plants and a flowery meadow, which not only provides rich color to the house, but also showcases the beauty of the local nature. From every Angle of the house, you can see a seamless connection with the natural landscape, whether it is the lake view through the large glass door, or the seasonal plants in the garden, which make people feel close to nature.

The design of the interior space is also full of respect for the local traditional culture and the pursuit of modern aesthetics. Studio Iskrys design team made clever use of natural materials such as wood and stone, as well as colors inspired by Kashubian patterns, to create an atmosphere that is both warm and regional. The Kashubian culture is a unique culture in the northern coastal region of Poland, known for its rich handicraft and brightly colored patterns. At the House on the Hill, these cultural elements are cleverly incorporated into the design so that every detail is imbued with story and meaning.

At the heart of the house is an open space that connects the kitchen, dining room and living room, becoming a hub for family activities. The kitchen design is modern and functional, with dark green cabinets paired with brushed granite countertops that are both beautiful and durable. The rounded edges of the island and the delicate rounded handles add a touch of lightness to the space.

客厅则是一个温馨的休息场所，低矮的书架不仅分隔了空间，也成为了展示家庭纪念品的地方。红色的沙发、鼠尾草色的电视柜、钴蓝色的扶手椅，以及黄色的亚麻窗帘，这些色彩的运用让客厅充满了温暖和活力。

The living room is a cozy place to rest, with low bookshelves that not only divide the space, but also become a place to display family memorabilia. The use of red sofas, sage TV cabinets, cobalt blue armchairs, and yellow linen curtains fills the living room with warmth and vitality.

餐厅的设计同样考虑到了实用性和美观性。由Hoom设计的大桌子可以容纳14人，而波兰品牌Tamo的椅子和大窗户的设计，让露台在夏天成为了室内空间的延伸，为日常会议和用餐提供了理想的场所。

The restaurant is also designed with practicality and aesthetics in mind. The large table designed by Hoom can accommodate 14 people, while the design of chairs and large Windows by Polish brand Tamo allows the terrace to become an extension of the interior space in the summer, providing an ideal place for daily meetings and dining.

浴室和书房的设计则更加注重舒适性和私密性。浴室以蓝色为主调，洗脸盆和淋浴间的蓝色花岗岩与光滑的微水泥墙和几何地板图案相得益彰。书房的蓝色细节和木制书架，为居民提供了一个安静舒适的工作空间。

The bathroom and study are designed with more emphasis on comfort and privacy. The bathroom is dominated by blue, and blue granite in the washbasins and showers complement the smooth microcement walls and geometric floor patterns. The studys blue details and wooden bookshelves provide a quiet and comfortable workspace for residents.

卧室和浴室的设计则更加注重舒适性和私密性。古董家具的使用，如床、床头柜、梳妆台和大衣柜，不仅展现了传统的魅力，也保证了实用性。浴室的大型橡木水槽、淋浴间和浴缸，以及可以俯瞰湖景的设计，让居民能够在享受家庭水疗中心的同时，也能感受到自然的宁静。

Bedrooms and bathrooms are designed with greater emphasis on comfort and privacy. The use of antique furniture, such as beds, bedside tables, dressers and armoires, not only shows traditional charm, but also guarantees practicality. The bathrooms large oak sinks, showers and bathtubs, as well as their design overlooking the lake, allow residents to enjoy the tranquility of nature while enjoying the home spa.
