Forum Workspace, a 2,730㎡ premium coworking space by Foolscap Studio in Cremorne’s Sixty-five Dover precinct, breaks the mold of traditional dark, masculine coworking designs. Commissioned early by Fortis and The Commons, the studio crafted its interior from concept to completion, infusing hospitality elements to mimic a hotel-like warmth. Drawing inspiration from ancient Roman forums, it uses travertine and cork as base materials, with stone, timber, and linen adding depth—creating a soft, inviting atmosphere that redefines modern coworking.

Forum Workspace 是由 Foolscap 工作室设计的高端联合办公空间，面积达 2730 平方米，坐落于克雷莫恩 “多佛街 65 号” 区域。项目打破传统联合办公空间暗沉、偏男性化的设计定式，由福蒂斯与 The Commons 早期委托工作室全程负责室内概念构思与落地。设计从古罗马广场汲取灵感，以石灰华与软木为基底材质，搭配石材、木材与亚麻材质增添层次，营造出柔和亲切的氛围，重新定义了现代联合办公空间的形态。

The entrance sequence embodies the Roman forum’s pedestrian-centric spirit. Right off the lifts, a central hub radiates all amenities and functions. Visitors are greeted by a tiered marbled cork landscape—undulating steps paired with upholstered benches and sturdy furniture, crafting a dynamic gathering spot. The foyer, referencing shaded Roman colonnades, features columns half-wrapped in travertine and a vaulted ceiling that casts a canopy of light, while large-format tiles in varied proportions add playful visual interest.

入口区域的设计完美诠释了古罗马广场以行人为主导的核心精神。走出电梯，一处中央枢纽向四周辐射所有配套设施与功能区。访客会首先看到由大理石纹理软木打造的分层景观 —— 起伏的台阶搭配软包长椅与坚固家具，形成充满活力的社交聚集点。大堂借鉴古罗马带遮阳的柱廊设计，柱子半包裹石灰华，穹顶天花打造出 “光之天篷” 的效果，不同比例铺设的大尺寸瓷砖则为空间增添了趣味视觉细节。

The west-facing library is a highlight, cleverly fitted into a concave room. It blends communal open desks with curtained reading nooks, and shelves lined with artifacts and books for quiet contemplation. Wood-wool acoustic walls not only muffle noise for auditory comfort but also infuse the space with natural warmth, turning a functional work area into a serene retreat that balances productivity and calm.

西向的图书馆是空间的一大亮点，巧妙地嵌入一处凹形房间内。这里既有开放式公共工位，也设有带帘子的阅读角，书架上摆放着工艺品与书籍，供人安静沉思。木丝吸音墙面不仅能降低噪音、提升听觉舒适度，还为空间注入自然暖意，将功能性办公区域转变为宁静的休憩之所，实现了高效工作与舒缓心境的平衡。

The kitchen breakout space stands out with full event-ready equipment. Terracotta wall tiles, warm timber joinery, and custom sand ceramic wall sconces infuse it with energy, making it ideal for both casual meals and large gatherings. A grand staircase connects the two floors, opening up the layout; its splayed bottom steps form an auditorium-like seating area. Beyond typical amenities, a golf simulator is added, while the adjacent lounge uses deep green and navy upholstery to clearly separate work and leisure zones.

厨房休闲区配备可满足大型活动需求的全套设备，是另一处亮眼空间。赤陶墙砖、温暖的木质细木工制品与定制砂岩陶瓷壁灯为这里注入活力，既适合日常简餐，也能承载大型聚会。一部宽大的楼梯连接两层空间，开阔了整体布局，底部散开的台阶形成类似礼堂的座位区。除常规配套外，空间还增设了高尔夫模拟器，相邻休息室则采用深绿色与藏青色软包，清晰划分出工作与休闲区域。

Completed in 2024, Forum Workspace weaves 人文 depth through art curation. Foolscap selected original Australian artworks, including pieces from Artbank’s collection and Thomas Hvala’s prints of Athens’ ruins—these not only adorn the space but also reinforce its ancient forum inspiration. Paired with Fieldwork’s carbon-neutral basebuild (targeting 5 Green Star and 4.5 NABERS), it merges historical reference, modern functionality, and sustainability, setting a new benchmark for premium coworking in Cremorne.
