In a quiet beach town in Rhode Island, a chic and personalised resort has been reborn. Created by renowned designer Jeremiah Brent and multi-talented creative Athena Calderone, this house is not only a seaside retreat, but also a masterpiece of modern design in dialogue with the natural landscape.

The residence was tailored for a family oriented client, aiming to create an elegant and welcoming space that would be the ideal place for family members and friends to gather. Jeremiah and Athena have combined functionality and artistry from the very beginning of the project, using design to tell the story of home.

We wanted this place to be both immersive and peaceful, but also evoke peoples enthusiasm for life. The sea itself is an inspiration, and what we do is we take architecture and design into its context, as a whole, says Jeremiah Brent. Athena added: This project is about family, its about shared moments. We wanted every space to feel intimate, but at the same time atmospheric enough to be amazing.

The house is located in an excellent waterfront location and is designed to maximize the view of the landscape. The entire house is made up of large floor-to-ceiling Windows and an open layout that captures Rhode Islands stunning beachfront sunrises and sunsets. The design makes full use of local stone, natural wood and soft neutral tones to blend the interior and exterior Spaces.

Jeremiah和Athena在设计中融入了许多微妙但意义深远的细节：餐厅的吊灯由手工吹制的玻璃制成，形状灵感源于海边的卵石；起居室的壁炉采用当地采集的石灰石制成，展现原始的自然美感；每个房间的地毯均由当地工匠手工编织，彰显了对手工艺的尊重。

Jeremiah and Athena incorporated many subtle but profound details into the design: The chandelier in the dining room is made of hand-blown glass, with shapes inspired by seaside pebbles; The fireplace in the living room is made of locally collected limestone, showing the original natural beauty; The carpets in each room are hand-woven by local artisans, demonstrating respect for the craftsmanship of the competitors.

主起居空间是家庭的核心，宽敞但不失温馨。客厅中摆放着定制的深色皮沙发，与柔软的羊毛靠垫形成对比，为空间增添了层次感。一旁的开放式厨房以其大理石岛台和黄铜装饰的吊灯成为视觉焦点，同时为家庭烹饪提供了绝佳场所。

每间卧室都独具特色，但始终保持了与整体设计的一致性。主卧采用柔和的蓝灰色调，与窗外的海景完美契合，营造出静谧的氛围。而儿童房则注重趣味性和实用性，配备了灵活的储物空间和可移动的家具，为孩子们提供了一个自由发挥想象力的天地。

The main living space is the heart of the home, spacious yet warm. A bespoke, dark leather sofa in the living room contrasts with soft wool cushions, adding layers to the space. The open kitchen to the side, with its marble island and brass-decorated chandeliers, is the focal point and provides the perfect place for home cooking. Each bedroom has its own character, but is always consistent with the overall design. The master bedroom is in a soft blue-grey tone that perfectly matches the sea view out the window, creating a quiet atmosphere. The childrens room focuses on fun and practicality, equipped with flexible storage space and movable furniture, providing children with a free imagination of the world.

The design of the outdoor areas is equally striking. The infinity pool is connected to the coastline, as if it were one with the sea; A spacious outdoor dining area with a long wooden table and comfortable rattan chairs is perfect for family barbecues and parties. In the garden at night, warm yellow lights set against the swaying sea breeze give the whole space a mysterious and dreamy atmosphere.
