Apple has taken over all 24 of Selfridges' window displays with an intricate installation that brings the Apple Watch's floral face to life, unveiled today in London

Selfridges was one of the first department stores in the world to use storytelling in window dressing, as well as being an industry leader by working with artists and designers to take-over and curate window displays – a trend which reaches an apex with the Apple collaboration
Adopting the smartwatch's UI design, the installation is made from flowers ranging from 200mm to 1.8m in height, all featuring a unique configuration of the Apple Watch
For the windows, all eight variations of flowers have been scaled and hand-painted by artists, the sculpting process as equally painstaking and meticulous as the original photography on the smartwatch

The small flowers are scanned directly from these in 3D, then scaled down and 3D printed. They are finished with a scenic paint treatment, with fine flocking details added, before being finally assembled as the lush, complex diorama.
