This Japanese-style restaurant was established in 1624 and used as hotel for traveller. Now it has been continued as a Japanese-style restaurant. Several renovations had been continued partially in each era. Then the harmony of the building was totally lost.

这家餐厅由三座建筑组成：厨房(建于1933年)、客房(建于1948年)和储藏室(建于1948年)。在本项目中，我们要求扩建客房，更新厨房外墙，拆除仓库后建造新的停车场。

This restaurant is composed three buildings, Kitchen(built in 1933), Guest room(built in 1948) and Storage(built in 1948). In this project, we required expansion of Guest room, renew the exterior wall of Kitchen and making new car parking after dismantlement of Storage.

现有的客房可以容纳40多个客户，但我们需要为6-10个客户这样的小组进行计划。

Existing guest room is possible to contain more than 40 customers but we were required to plan for small group like 6-10 customers.

这家餐厅提供日本菜。在这个项目中，我们把重点放在一种日本美食风格，“凯泽基餐”，并试图使建筑像局部差异创造一个整体。

This restaurant serves Japanese meal based on Kaiseki meal. In this project, we focused on a japanese food style, "Kaiseki meal" and tried to make a building like partial differences create a whole.

Kaiseki粉的应用

Application of Kaiseki meal

街机餐按季节提供食物。在一个盘子里有许多有特色的食物，但同时也考虑到了整个平衡。

Kaiseki meal serves food according to season. There are many characteristic meals in one plate, but at the same time the whole balance is considered very much.

在这个项目中，我们把凯泽基餐的特色带到了空间构图中。在整个建筑中，以平衡的方式布置了一些有特色的部件。

In this project, we brought the feature of Kaiseki meal to the space composition. Some characteristic parts is laid out in a balanced fashion in whole building.

当我们研究现有的餐厅时，每个房间都是以面向花园的方式带来季节元素，每个房间都有不同的装饰方式。在日本风格的餐厅氛围(=日本建筑氛围)中，我们试图通过交叉各种元素，使每一个空间在一座建筑中都有不同的氛围。

When we researched the existed restaurant, each room was bringing season element by facing to the garden and each room was decorated in different way. The Japanese-style restaurant atmosphere(=Japanese architecture atmosphere) in mind, we tried to make each spaces have different atmosphere in one building by crossing various element.

在这次装修中，它给周围的餐厅带来了新的面貌。局部改造通过空间组成、材料选择、过程性、现代感和交叉性等方面为整个建筑提供了平衡。

In this renovation, it brings a new face to the surrounding as a restaurant. By space composition, selecting materials, past-modern and crossing different materials, the partial renovation gave the balance for whole building.

这家餐厅以现代的方式(技术、材料等)进行改造，当它有了新的改造时，它将获得新的材料、新的技术和新的社会前景。因此，我们希望这家餐厅能与这一地区保持联系。

This restaurant renovated by the present-day way(technique, material and etc), will get new material, new technique and new perspective of society, when it has a next renovation. Thus, we hope the restaurant will keep a relation with the area.
