Text description provided by the architects. Traditionally, dojo has to obey to a specific orientation.

荣誉面叫做卡米扎，面向南方。老师总是坐在卡米扎的背上。另一边被称为Shimoza，是为学习者准备的。在下关一边，高级学习者坐在老师的左边(东边叫乔塞基)，初学者坐在右边(西边叫马塞基)。

The honorary side is called Kamiza and faces the South. The teacher always seats with the Kamiza on his back. The other side is called the Shimoza and is for the learners. On the Shimoza side, the advanced learners seat on the left of the teacher (East side called Joseki) and the beginners seat on the right (West side called Shimoseki).

这种特定的取向有其自身的象征意义。阳光是知识，学习者只有通过老师的思考才能看到这种光，而老师必须是一面忠实的镜子。先进的学习者站在朝阳的一边，因为他们开始理解他们练习的基本原则，而初学者还在黑暗中。

This specific orientation has its own symbolist. Light of the sun is the knowledge and learners can only see this light trough the thinking of the teacher who must be a faithful mirror. The advanced learners are on the sunrise side because they start to understand the essential principles of their practice while the beginners are still into the darkness.

在这里，道场就像轻轻地落在东边的自然斜坡上，朝向知识，强化了由元素所创造的上升的感觉。自由平面以不透明、半透明和空隙旋转，与光线和阴影一起玩耍。

Here, the dojo is like gently landed on the natural slopes on the East, towards the knowledge, reinforcing this sensation of rising created by the elements. The free plane turns with opacity, translucence and gaps playing with light and shadow.

黑色是它的颜色，木材是它的材料，半透明是它的开口。

Black is its color, wood is its materials, translucent are its openings.
