蒙得福里奥青年中心被设想为一个可以开展多种活动的地方；一个可以各种方式加以利用和分割的相当大的空间。它位于一个没有其他建筑物的地区，朝南、下坡、朝向蒙得福里奥的城市社区。该地段附近没有合拍的城市结构，这决定了它的体积，其设计目的是在其所在的自然景观中出现一个独立的元素。

The Montefrío Youth Centre was conceived of as a place where multiple activities could take place; a considerable space which could be used and divided in various ways. It is situated in an area free of other buildings and faces south, downhill, towards the urban community of Montefrío. There is no cocerted urban structure near the lot, which determines its volume, designed so as to appear an independent element within the natural landscapes where it is located.

建筑物的内部与土地的坡度相适应，结构在三个基本层次上，包括不同的空间：入口区域和较低层的办公室，以及中、上两层的单一、多用途的空间。进入不同楼层的区域被认为是相互联系和暴露的空间。

The building's interior adapts to the slope of the land, and is structured on three basic level which include different spaces: the entrance area and offices on the lower level, and a single, multipurpose space on the middle and upper levels. Access areas to the various floors have been considered as spaces for interrelation and exposure.

The outside of the building blends in with the urban structure closest in scale and level, and is organized in surfaces which tie in with the various surrounding contours, making it more easily accessible. The ability of this building to diffuse into the nearest urban surroundings, as seen from inside, is an attempt to explain its contingency on this medium, justifying it in its use as a public, outfitted building.
