Text description provided by the architects. The house is located next to the sea in a privileged lot on a gentle beach, Jose Ignacio. The site has a moderate slope towards the sea and its main views are towards the west and the sunset. On one of its sides, towards the south, is one of the main access streets to the beach, very busy during the summer.

该项目是一个单独的家庭度假之家，夏季持续使用，冬季偶尔使用。它的设计几乎完全在一个单一的楼层，梯田稍微跟随自然的地形坡度。

The program is a single family vacation home with continuous use during the summer, and occasional use during the winter. It is designed almost entirely in a single floor that terraces slightly following the natural slope of the terrain.

这座房子由一系列石墙亭组成，四合院相隔，大板覆盖。这个屋顶花园是一个强烈的横向姿态，把房子和海洋地平线上的日落联系起来。这两种元素都将房屋的社会区域定义为一系列外部、内部和半覆盖的空间，这些空间相互关联，创造了适应场地气候变化的各种条件。在夏天，大的滑动窗户把房子变成了一个巨大的外部遮阳空间。

The house is formed by a series of stone wall pavilions, separated by courtyards and covered by a large slab. This roof garden is a strong horizontal gesture that relates the house with the sunset on the ocean horizon. Both elements define the social area of the house as a sequence of exterior, interior, and semi-covered spaces that interrelate creating various conditions adapted to the climate variables of the site. The large sliding windows turn the house into a great exterior, shaded space during the summer.

The house is consolidated on the south elevation, where the service functions are protected from the wind and from the access street to the beach. The tower on the corner defines its inconspicuous presence in the landscape of the town of Jose Ignacio.
