destilat designed the new lobby for the office of one of Austria’s biggest law firms – with its reception, meeting rooms, and communal areas which can be used flexibly for various events.

The concept’s goal was to calm the existing and rather restless as well as formally inhomogeneous situation with a “second skin” of dark wooden slats combined with bright, large-scale ceramic Feinstein tiles, and create intuitively understandable spatial structures. These heavy and hard materials are complemented by textile flooring as well as translucent curtain rails.
