This project addresses the prevalent issue of density in Singapore’s public housing. To counter the dense building mass, a low-scale typology was devised for the configuration of units. Organized into a U-shaped podium, the units allow for the view of an inner courtyard and the surrounding streetscape, while retaining privacy for the tenants. The blocks are arranged in separate parcels with individual landscape and building layouts to emphasize a sense of identity and belonging.
本项目解决新加坡公共住房中普遍存在的密度问题。为了应对密集的建筑质量，设计了一种用于单元配置的低尺度类型学。这些单元被组织成一个U形的领奖台，可以看到内部庭院和周围的街景，同时保持房客的隐私。这些街区被安排在单独的地块中，具有单独的景观和建筑布局，以强调身份和归属感。
