Belgian design brand when objects work has made a reputation for itself working with world-class architects to design and produce everyday objects. Beatrice De Lafontaine, in collaboration with the Belgian stone manufacturer Hullebusch, commissioned us to create a unique scenography for her showroom during the 2016 edition of the Milan Furniture fair. Sculptural, solid blocks of raw, unfinished grey travertine were used in an almost museographical scenography, giving each object a specific place. Inspired by the minimalist works of Carl André, untreated black steel plates were used as transition between the all-white space and the stone pedestals.
