The new Malfalda collection reinterprets the morphology and clear geometric lines of traditional wood-framed seating by applying a new concept to the backrest and upholstery. In sharp contrast to the geometry of the wood, the shell has a soft, “waved” design. The “waves” are formed using new moulding technology to create a shell in a material which is both recycled and recyclable, but which is flexible and soft to the touch.
