Taking its name from the french word for ‘armadillo’, the ‘tatou’ series draws its influences from that of armour, particularly that of classic antique Japan, offering dynamism, lightness and flexibility. The idea behind the luminaire is made-up of four identical elements, each one interwoven to form a unified dome which diffuses direct light either upwards or downwards, as well as allowing light to pass through as a result of its perforated shell.
