This new Asian restaurant, inspired by the exotic atmosphere of the Far East City, is located in the Quebec City of Laval next to Montreal. It reflects the prosperity of Hong Kong in the middle of the last century. The food is filtered from kitsch aesthetics. This is the inspiration that architects encounter when visiting the Chinatowns in San Francisco and Vancouver.

The architect uses the large central space of the site to create nostalgic versions of Hong Kong streets, complete color neon signs, classic folding scissor doors, jade carved walls and hanging lanterns. Entering a low ceiling porch, you will pass an old-fashioned Chinese arch. The frame of the arch is Miss Huangs portrait. The restaurant has a vast space of 930 square meters, and the ceiling is nearly 7 meters high. You will be amazed at its size and vitality.

Similar to the film studio, the main area is centered on two symmetrical bars with several large neon lights and light box signs to advertise fictional Chinese stores. These logos, together with custom lighting on the table and black painted ceiling, create an impression of the Asian street market at night, reinforced by the introduction of Chinese garden style balconies, Chinese pergola structure and a large amount of lush vegetation.

Outside the restaurant, far from the noise of the central hall, architects create four different areas to provide guests with a more intimate dining experience. The custom-made furniture and lamps inspired by Chinese popular portraits remind people of a different feeling in every space, from the decadent luxury of Opium house to the red lantern room conveying emotional romanticism in Wong Kar Wais movie the mood of love - Wong Kar Wais name is certainly not a coincidence.
