Shade of Ours Shade of Ours is a cafe in Seoul, Korea designed by The First Penguin that redefines the spiritual value and social meaning of the brand through the construction of the space. In order to meet the needs of different age groups for leisure and entertainment places, the designer adopts a minimalist design style throughout, clean and smooth lines create a condensed, concise and stylish space situation.

咖啡馆以浅色为空间主色调，暖色的木制家具与其形成微妙的视觉对比。具有通透性的玻璃在项目中得到广泛应用，有利于引入自然光线的同时有效延展了人们的视野。而内部随处可见的矩形几何造型，创造出一种纯粹的元素和材料肌理，也极大地丰富了空间的层次语言。

The cafe uses light colors as the main color of the space, while warm wooden furniture provides a subtle visual contrast. Permeable glass is widely used in the project, which helps to bring in natural light while effectively extending peoples views. The rectangular geometry everywhere in the interior creates a pure element and material texture, which also greatly enriches the hierarchical language of the space.

室内的主要照明工具几乎被设计师“刻意”隐藏，同时以最大限度的减少空间内多余的软装陈设，确保物理空间的纯粹性。当夜幕降临时，隐约的灯光下，营造出安静、幽谧又自然的独特情境与氛围，使不同的材料、质地、肌理在空间中互为映衬。

The main lighting tools in the interior are almost deliberately hidden by the designer, while minimizing the excess soft furnishings in the space to ensure the purity of the physical space. When the night falls, the dim light creates a quiet, quiet and natural unique situation and atmosphere, making different materials, textures and textures set off each other in the space.
