This historic residence was originally a fusion of various architectural styles and elements, and Atelier MKD has reimagined it to create a spacious and unique private floor plan layout based on smooth curved spaces. The furniture custom designed by Atelier MKD is a symbol of the spatial layout of this apartment, with an overall style that combines diversity and artistry. The lacquer wood console and base table of Atelier MKD complement a series of design works spanning different periods and styles, including St é phane Parmentiers limestone coffee table, Spanish Renaissance style chairs in the restaurant, and 1970s style chairs in the master bedroom. Artworks with harmonious tones adorn various spaces, such as Camilla Reymans "Patchwork" and Han Qiaos ceramic sculpture "Almost a Top" (2023).

The curved structure of the master bedroom complements the carpet and wool curtains, creating a comfortable and private atmosphere, as if you were in a pastry cabinet in Paris. The master bathroom - the highlight of the entire apartment - achieves a perfect balance between structure and materials, tradition and modernity, yet remains low-key. The design of the main bathroom became the inspiration for the entire project. Its design highlights include a grand bathtub and tall, slender arched doors, reminiscent of the elegance and romance of a historic bathroom salon, "Drew recalled.

We used Roman plaster, which ensures wall waterproofing and fits the curves of the space. We paired it with soft toned low-key stone to create a peaceful atmosphere.
