Cape Schanck House 坐落于澳大利亚维多利亚州莫宁顿半岛的海岸地带，是一座在度假居住与日常栖居之间取得平衡的住宅。项目以居住私密性为核心设计前提，将国家高尔夫俱乐部的果岭景观与远处海景纳入主要观景视野。建筑顺应陡峭的沙质坡地展开布局，场地边缘保留的原生植被构成天然屏障，使建筑体量在环境中呈现出克制而沉稳的姿态，在营造静谧庇护感的同时，保持面向地平线的开阔视线。

The Cape Schanck House is located on the coastal area of the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. It is a residence that strikes a balance between vacation living and daily habitation. The project is designed with the core consideration of providing private living space. The golf course landscape of the national golf club and the distant sea view are incorporated into the main viewing area. The building is arranged in accordance with the steep sandy slope, and the original native vegetation at the edge of the site forms a natural barrier, making the building volume present a restrained and stable posture in the environment. At the same time, it creates a quiet shelter while maintaining an open view towards the horizon.

室内空间以深色木材确立主要材料基调，呼应周边自然地貌的色彩与质感特征。木材的运用贯穿各个核心功能区，其中波浪形屋顶下方的结构处理成为室内空间极具识别度的视觉焦点。悬挑的曲面结构强化了空间的整体连续性，将客厅、厨房与餐厅整合为一体化展开的公共区域；随建筑结构起伏变化的天花线条引导视线上扬，与沿海地形的自然轮廓形成呼应。

The interior space establishes the main material tone with dark wood, echoing the color and texture characteristics of the surrounding natural landscape. The use of wood is integrated throughout each core functional area, with the structural treatment beneath the wave-shaped roof becoming a highly recognizable visual focal point of the interior space. The cantilevered curved structure enhances the overall continuity of the space, integrating the living room, kitchen and dining area into an integrated public area. The ceiling lines that rise along with the variations in the building structure guide the line of sight upwards, forming a response to the natural contours of the coastal terrain.

建筑通过大面积玻璃界面加强居住者与自然环境之间的联系，而非仅将其作为展示景观的媒介。通高落地窗将室外景致直接引入主要起居空间，高侧窗从上方补充自然采光，在不同高度层次上梳理光线与视线，使室内视觉在天空与海面之间形成连续而有序的过渡。在此基础上，家具与艺术品的配置承担起调节空间氛围的作用，多数家具由澳大利亚本土工匠手工打造，既丰富了空间的触感层次，也体现出对在地工艺传统的尊重。

The building enhances the connection between the occupants and the natural environment through a large area of glass surfaces, rather than merely using it as a medium for displaying the landscape. The full-height floor-to-ceiling windows directly introduce the outdoor scenery into the main living space, while the high side windows supplement the natural lighting from above. They organize the light and sightlines at different height levels, creating a continuous and orderly transition of visual perception between the sky and the sea. On this basis, the arrangement of furniture and artworks takes on the role of regulating the atmosphere of the space. Most of the furniture is handcrafted by local Australian artisans, which not only enriches the tactile layers of the space but also demonstrates respect for the local craftsmanship traditions.

户外空间沿地势自然铺展，作为住宅向场地延伸的重要组成部分，被嵌入原有的地形起伏之中。泳池、休闲区与烧烤区围合出一处具备避风条件的庭院空间，同时与远景保持直接而通透的视觉联系。泳池采用高架木桩结构，从住宅底层向外悬挑，在满足结构安全与稳定要求的前提下，尽量降低对景观视线的干扰。深色陶瓷铺装强化了水面的反射效果，将天空与周边植被纳入整体视觉构成，使泳池及其周边空间呈现出克制而沉静的空间特质。

The outdoor space is naturally laid out along the terrain, serving as an important component of the residences extension into the site. It is embedded within the existing topographical undulations. The swimming pool, leisure area, and barbecue area enclose a courtyard space with wind-avoidance conditions, maintaining a direct and transparent visual connection with the distant views. The swimming pool is constructed with a raised wooden pile structure, extending outward from the lower level of the residence. While meeting the requirements for structural safety and stability, it minimizes interference with the landscape views. The dark ceramic paving enhances the reflection effect of the water surface, incorporating the sky and surrounding vegetation into the overall visual composition, giving the swimming pool and its surrounding spaces a restrained and serene spatial quality.
