Field House坐落于墨尔本内城，是CJH Studio打造的1930年代住宅当代更新项目。建筑原本结构清晰、尺度规整，为改造奠定了坚实基础。设计依托原有建筑框架，重新梳理空间关系与材质语言，在保留历史结构特质的同时，赋予住宅内敛克制的当代居住气质。

Field House is located in the inner city of Melbourne and is a contemporary renovation project of a 1930s residence by CJH Studio. The original building had a clear structure and regular scale, providing a solid foundation for the renovation. The design relies on the existing building framework, reorganizes the spatial relationship and material language, and while preserving the historical structural characteristics, endows the residence with a restrained and contemporary living atmosphere.

项目以创始人Cassie James-Herrick提出的“软化传统结构”为核心方向，深度契合屋主热爱社交的生活方式。住宅既要满足聚会、宴请的高频公共需求，又要保障日常居住的舒适与私密，设计以连贯统一的空间逻辑，让原有平面秩序与当代艺术、家具陈设自然衔接，清晰划分公共与私密空间层次。

The project is centered on the concept of "softening traditional structures" proposed by the founder, Cassie James-Herrick, and is deeply in line with the homeowners social lifestyle. The residence needs to meet the frequent public demands of gatherings and banquets while ensuring the comfort and privacy of daily living. The design uses a coherent and unified spatial logic to naturally connect the original floor plan order with contemporary art and furniture arrangements, clearly dividing the public and private space levels.

入口是设计理念的集中呈现，修复后的Willy Rizzo酒吧占据视觉核心，成为兼具年代感与收藏格调的焦点。空间动线由外向内递进，开放的会客、餐饮区依次铺展，再过渡至静谧的起居空间，节奏舒缓有序。

The entrance is a concentrated presentation of the design concept. The restored Willy Rizzo bar occupies the visual core and becomes a focal point that combines a sense of the times with a collection style. The spatial flow progresses from the outside to the inside, with the open reception and dining areas unfolding in sequence, and then transitioning to the quiet living space, with a smooth and orderly rhythm.

厨房作为生活核心，以染色橡木、浅色大理石台面与定制墙面，营造温和耐用的使用氛围。麂皮、镀铬、木材与黄铜相互呼应，塑造细腻的材质层次。定制餐桌搭配古董吊灯，尽显工作室对定制设计与复古单品的精准把控，让Field House在历史底蕴与当代生活间达成完美平衡，成就温暖永恒的宜居空间。

The kitchen, as the core of life, is decorated with stained oak, light-colored marble countertops and custom walls to create a gentle and durable living atmosphere. The leather, chrome, wood and brass elements complement each other, creating a delicate material hierarchy. The custom dining table is paired with antique chandeliers, showcasing the studios precise control over custom designs and vintage items. This allows Field House to achieve a perfect balance between historical heritage and contemporary life, creating a warm and timeless living space.
