What Is It Like Designing for a Truly Cool Client?

因屋主从事时尚工作，对比例、材质、光线极为敏感，所以要为这样一位充满个性的时尚人士设计一个家，达到审美同频极其重要。我们确信屋主期待的并非传统的居家氛围，而是一个极具审美，充满张力，但又足够克制的个人化空间。

经过充分沟通，我们决定以“融合自然的未来主义”为实验方向，运用极简主义与当代艺术手法，结合金属材料与有机形态，共同构建一个兼具前卫感与人文温度的美学居所。

As the homeowner works in fashion, possessing a keen sensitivity to proportion, material

, and light, designing for such a distinctive individual required aesthetic resonance above all. We understood that what they sought was not a conventional domestic atmosphere, but a highly aesthetic, tension-rich, yet restrained personal sanctuary.

Through thoughtful dialogue, we embraced "nature-infused futurism" as our experimental direction. Employing minimalist and contemporary artistic approaches, we combined metallic elements with organic forms to create an aesthetic dwelling that is both avant-garde and humanly warm.

屋主作为服装品牌主理人，工作繁忙，居家时主要停留于衣帽间，亦有阅读与观影的休闲需求。我们与其达成共识：空间需维持恒定的视觉秩序，同时具备灵活可变的开放性以回应未来的生活变化。

As the founder of a fashion label, the homeowner leads a busy life, spending much of their time at home in the dressing area, with occasional needs for reading and film viewing. We agreed on a shared vision: the space should maintain a coherent visual order while remaining flexibly open to adapt to life

s future shifts.

白色自流平由客厅延伸至阳台，墙面也选用带有肌理的白色涂料，让光线得以流通；空间内不设实墙，也无固定的家具，保持视觉与动线的流动，由此，客厅与阳台打通为一片开放区域，整合为一个通透的

从入口步入房屋深处，以功能性对空间进行了解构，呈现空间韵律的层层递进。

White self-leveling flooring extends from the living area to the balcony, while textured white paint on the walls allows light to flow freely. Without solid partitions or fixed furnishings, visual and kinetic continuity is preserved, merging the living room and balcony into an open "plane of living."

Moving from the entrance into the heart of the home, the space is deconstructed through function, revealing a layered progression of spatial rhythm.

At the entry, an Imperfettolab sculptural bench in the form of tree roots is paired with a custom tapestry

s daily photographs. This artistic arrangement not only echoes their acute sensitivity to fashion and art but also establishes the visual tone for the entire space.

Down the corridor lies a transformed secondary bedroom

now a styling studio rather than a mere storage closet

Stainless steel continues here as wardrobe material, complemented by a full-length mirror that serves both function and vision. A Cappellini Smoke chair and an Imperfettolab pebble side table grace a corner before the mirror. Retro blue acrylic cabinet doors and a custom blue rug punctuate the space with color, adding avant-garde flair and dramatic tension. Perforated metal panels and blinds filter light into overlapping geometric shapes, flowing like a starry sky.

在视觉尽头，卧室的设计遵循极简原则，剔除了一切冗余，仅保留少量屋主钟爱的艺术装置与必要家具，让无尽的留白带来生活的呼吸，提供更好的休憩。

At the visual terminus, the bedroom adheres to minimalist principles, stripped of all excess, retaining only a few cherished art installations and essential furniture. Generous negative space allows the room to breathe, offering deeper repose.

s bones emerge. The introduction of art turns the space into a narrative on "nature and time." Primordial forms across temporal scales

are captured here. We reflect the force of nature through a futuristic lens, constructing a calm, pure, and spiritually charged field.

A Flos glass floor lamp casts golden, liquid-like ripples over cool stainless steel. Sheer curtains filter natural light, allowing the space to shift in mood from dawn to dusk.

Art, furniture, materials, and light interact dynamically, enabling the homeowner to perceive subtle emotional shifts while moving through the rooms.

An installation by artists Ran Xiangfei and Li Yaohui floats in the air, while a Kartell LCP Lounge Chair rests on the floor

its fluid, seamless form challenging the traditional definition of a lounge.

As envisioned, rather than accumulating warm decorations, San Yuan aimed first to shape a "realm for thought" where one can quiet the mind. Blank walls, restrained light, and clean lines act as silent guides, reminding inhabitants to shed external noise and return to their purest selves.

飞行的时间，大概超过了和伴侣相处的时间，但我们仍然感受着彼此的存在与需要。独处学习的时间有时候是很宝贵的，我希望在居家时也可以吸取更多的能量，这大概也是我对自己的要求和约束吧。

屋主提到。

"Time spent flying may exceed that with my partner, yet we still feel each other

s presence and need. Moments of solitary learning are precious, and I hope to draw energy even at home

a discipline I uphold," the homeowner shared.

三渊一直在为这个空间做减法，并试图让艺术为其注入灵魂，营造一种适配于屋主的专注严谨的空间氛围。

Our design team consistently pared down the space, allowing art to instill soul, cultivating an atmosphere of focused rigor tailored to the homeowner.

当有人问到为什么这个空间不同于大众印象中柔软的

温暖的家时，三渊的主理人回答道：

转瞬即逝的灵感很珍贵，在深沉冷调的环境色里，会让人更加专注于思考，不断生出新想法。色彩的减少，并不意味着疏离。在足够纯净的环境中，情绪反而更容易被感知。我们更愿意用甲方的生活方式思考，怎样才是一个真正渴望的家。

When asked why this space diverges from the conventionally soft, warm home, the design lead responded:

"Fleeting inspiration is precious. In a deep, cool palette, one focuses more on thinking, continually generating new ideas. Less color does not mean detachment. In a sufficiently pure environment, emotions become more perceptible. We prefer to think from the client

Ultimately, this space is not a cold vision of the future but a sanctuary for the spirit. It invites dwellers to retreat from the clamor of the everyday, to engage in a dialogue between ice and stone, eternity and the ephemeral, to feel the sublimity of nature and the tranquility of the future
