A Prologue to Qingye: Embracing the Breath of Nature in Minimalism
When deep green wood paneling meets bright yellow geometric forms, the space becomes a poem about nature and restraint.
Vertical wooden slats soften the heaviness of the walls, allowing light to gently flood into the interior and cast dappled tree shadows across the floor and walls. The corridor is elongated to serve as a visual guide, directing the gaze toward the open wilderness beyond the windows and fostering a natural dialogue between the interior and exterior. Each window opening has been meticulously calculated; serving both as a picture frame and an entry point for light, they allow the passage of time to be clearly perceived.
The bright yellow bar counter floats above the floor in a pure geometric form, dispelling the heaviness of traditional cabinetry and serving as a visual anchor for the space. The white curved chairs break up the solid green backdrop with their minimalist lines, infusing a sense of lightness into the unified color scheme and becoming a gentle visual focal point within the space. All furniture is stripped of unnecessary ornamentation, prioritizing function above all else. It becomes a silent sculpture within the space, serving human behavior and emotions.

Color: A Poetic Interpretation of Nature
Deep green, the signature hue of the forest, covers the walls and ceiling, creating a sense of envelopment and tranquility that instantly calms the mind.Bright yellow evokes new buds breaking through the soil; with its striking visual contrast, it dances across the deep backdrop, awakening the space’s vitality and energy. The cool, metallic sheen of the faucets injects a touch of rationality into the warm green, reinforcing the modern minimalist design language.Gray and white serve as transitional tones, balancing the intensity of the colors and creating an atmosphere that is both vibrant and restrained—like a warm ray of spring sunshine.
Design: The Ultimate Expression of Minimalist Aesthetics
The design centers on minimalism, stripping away all decorative elements to allow the materials themselves to take center stage. The contrast between the vertical wood grain and the soft flooring enriches the spatial layers without disrupting the overall harmony and unity.Light is regarded as a key design language; the combination of natural and artificial light allows the greenery to evoke varying moods and atmospheres throughout the day.Ultimately, within this pure green environment, the design returns to a focus on human well-being, allowing those within it to temporarily escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature.
Bound Spacies
JENNIFER LATOUR

Jennifer Latour’s Bound Species is an ongoing series that started in her apartment during the first lockdown in 2020. Jennifer finally had the time to focus on her own artistic practise. Sourcing flowers, stems and sometimes even fruits locally and using all her skills as a special effects makeup artist she set to work delicately constructing these beautiful and fascinating ‘new species’ of plant. In an era of AI and digital manipulation, one of the most impressive elements of Jennifer’s practise is that each species is created by hand. Temporary organic sculptures which she then photographs either in her studio or sometimes releasing them back into wild
Bound Species draws comparisons to the work of past masters such as Karl Blossfeldt whose intricate early close up depictions of locally found plants continue to inspire designers around the world, celebrating natures beauty. Also more contemporary conceptual artists like Joan Fontcuberta whose playful interventions and creations with wildlife and fauna explore similar themes.
We are excited about how this series will evolve over time and we plan to release new species seasonally.
Artworks from this series are created in the artists studio, Vancouver, Canada. New species are added regularly.

You probably guessed it—see it and understand it.
So, what is "Again and Again"? Again and Again is an old friend. Placing "see" in reverse signifies communication— it also embodies the unique nature of longing to swim against the current.
Matrix, matrix. Design is subtractive manufacturing.
God drew the perfect circle, Prometheus created the perfect vertical. The rectangle is the foundational language of creation, Matrix rules arrange, Rigorous yet rebellious.
Thus, what else is there to see
Flexibility and adaptability lead to freedom. One of the most compelling aspects of spatial design lies in its ever-changing spatial planning and layout, and the signature geometry will adhere to this principle.
