What happens when a stylish psychologist, a forward-thinking entrepreneur, and two energetic children move into a traditionally classic duplex in the heart of São Paulo?

A home that balances elegance with spontaneity—where adult sophistication meets the vibrant chaos of childhood.

设计师 Karina Passarelli 并没有选择以往翻新老宅的保守套路，而是以“成年人的优雅”与“孩子的奔放”为双引擎，重塑了一套面积达350㎡的都市寓所。她将纯白大理石的冷峻底色，交织进原始清水混凝土与自然木质的温润肌理，在张力与柔和之间，悄然构筑出一个“可被认真欣赏，也可尽情玩耍”的生活容器。

didn’t take the conventional route of preserving old-world charm. Instead, she chose to rewire the space with a dual narrative: mature yet playful, refined yet inviting. With 350 square meters to work with, she used the sleek backdrop of white marble as a canvas, grounding it with raw concrete, warm wood, and matte textures. The result? A residence that feels curated yet cozy, elegant yet full of life.

这场改造，并非一次临时起意。

在施工期间，屋主一家干脆搬去了郊外小住，甚至做好了彻底放弃这套老宅的准备。直到完工那日，他们才意识到，这座复式公寓不应被遗忘——而应该成为工作日的城市据点，与郊外的乡居别墅，一起完成家庭的“双栖生活”。

This transformation wasn’t a quick weekend fix.

The family actually relocated to the countryside during renovation, mentally prepared to abandon the apartment altogether. But the final result changed their minds completely. Today, this duplex is their weekday home, while the rural house remains a weekend retreat.

从放弃到惊艳

From Letting Go to Falling in Love

Karina为这座公寓注入的是一套清晰却不尖锐的设计语言。

通高的客厅是整个空间的精神核心：一整面落地玻璃将城市天际线尽收眼底，一组由Gaetano Pesce于1969年为B-B Italia设计的Up 5 - Up 6椅凳，以极具后现代意味的线条与黑白条纹，打破空间秩序，点燃视觉张力。而模组化沙发则承担着全家的情绪锚点，从独处到聚会，皆可松弛以待。

硬朗与温度并存

Rewriting the Architectural Script

公共区域的尺度极其大气，为设计师留下了足够的操作空间：粗织地毯既是孩子们的游戏场，也缓冲了空间的冷意；几何拼贴、跳色家具、雕塑化灯具如同一组组视觉暗号，为中性底色注入鲜活的节奏感。

Large spaces call for bold moves: oversized rugs that double as play zones, endless seating for entertaining, and furniture that’s as child-proof as it is beautiful. A calm, neutral base allows bursts of color to shine through—geometric tiles, vivid accents, and sculptural decor add character without overpowering the space.

细节之处更显功力。

全屋灯光采用间接照明策略，将天花、墙体的结构轮廓柔和提亮，也营造出夜晚低饱和的沉静氛围。隐藏于背后的，是全面升级的水电系统与智能控制中枢——科技不喧哗，但一切井然有序。

Lighting is used with finesse throughout the home.

An indirect lighting scheme softens structural features and enhances ambiance, while upgrades to plumbing, electrical systems, and a smart home network ensure everything runs seamlessly beneath the surface. The tech remains silent—but omnipresent.

设计师甚至没有忽视城市公寓最容易被放弃的部分——户外阳台。

上层露台重新规划了烧烤区，并用一抹亮黄池底，为泳池增添了难得一见的俏皮色彩。城市之上，这抹黄如童年般自由。

In most city apartments, outdoor spaces are an afterthought.

Not here. The upper-level terrace was transformed with a built-in BBQ and a bold, sunshine-yellow pool lining—injecting playful energy into the urban skyline.

户外的童话

A Rare Outdoor Gem

主卧的调性回归内敛，宛若高端酒店般沉稳且质感十足。灰调铺满开放式套间，触感丰富的表面材质与几何纹理瓷砖，将“酷感”与“温润”精准平衡。卫浴间则延续这一基调，在光泽与粗糙间游走，呈现出一种近乎未来感的利落。

In contrast to the playful communal areas, the primary suite embraces a more muted, hotel-like aesthetic. Shades of gray, richly textured surfaces, and a flowing open plan create a moody, luxurious retreat. The en suite bathroom continues this theme with graphic tiles and a clean, polished edge.

这套位于圣保罗的城市住宅，不靠浮华取胜，却在每一个尺度、每一块材质的交锋中，讲述了一种“以人为本”的现代生活哲学。

它优雅、克制，却始终张开双臂，欢迎孩子们的奔跑与笑声。

This São Paulo duplex doesn’t flaunt luxury. Instead, it expresses a quiet confidence—through proportions, textures, and lifestyle-centric design.

It’s a home that speaks softly, but always with intention.
