The Conrad Residence was designed by the firm led by architect Paul Conrad. It is a high-end residential project that combines classical order with contemporary language. The building is based on clear axes and symmetrical composition, and is guided into through a tree-lined driveway, creating a space sequence with a sense of ceremony, thereby enhancing the overall solemnity and orderliness.

项目在体量与比例控制上展现出克制而精确的设计策略。立面采用均衡的开窗节奏与严谨的几何关系，使建筑呈现出内敛而稳定的视觉张力。同时，这种对“比例—空间—传统”的持续回应，使其在当代语境中实现了对经典建筑语言的延续与转化。

The project demonstrates a restrained and precise design strategy in terms of volume and proportion control. The facade features a balanced rhythm of window openings and strict geometric relationships, giving the building a restrained and stable visual tension. At the same time, this continuous response to "proportion - space - tradition" enables it to achieve the continuation and transformation of classic architectural language in the contemporary context.

在空间组织上，住宅前后形成鲜明对照：面向街道的一侧强调形式的秩序与礼仪，而朝向自然景观的一侧则趋于开放与舒展。建筑后部俯瞰果园与海湾景观，将室内空间与自然环境建立直接联系，从而营造出一种内向而静谧的居住氛围。

In terms of spatial organization, the residence presents a stark contrast between the front and the back: the side facing the street emphasizes the order and etiquette of form, while the side facing the natural landscape tends to be open and expansive. The rear part of the building overlooks the orchard and the bay view, establishing a direct connection between the indoor space and the natural environment, thereby creating an inward-looking and serene living atmosphere.

The application of materials and light further enhanced the spatial experience. The interior was illuminated by large-scale openings to let in natural light, resulting in subtle changes in light and shadow throughout the different periods of the day. Combined with restrained and refined material expressions, it created a peaceful, elegant and richly layered living environment, reflecting Paul Conrads in-depth exploration of the relationship between spatial emotions and the architectural entity.
