在存量时代，同质化建筑遍布全国，不同城市批量诞生了大量雷同的房屋。
随着时间推移，这些建筑逐渐“老化”。
因此，如何营造更精细的城市生活颗粒度，成为设计
师探索的重要课题。
What constitutes a residential space? It may represent humanity’s redefinition of dwelling—a spatial reconfiguration of the relationship between people and their lifestyles. In the era of existing stock, homogenized architecture proliferates nationwide, with cities mass-producing indistinguishable housing units. Over time, these structures inevitably age. The designer employs a narrative technique that dissolves architectural traces, transforming space into a vessel containing natural poetry. As dawn and dusk light glide across plain walls while seasons unfold through window lattices, inhabitants transcend physical boundaries to dwell within a natural theater where reality and illusion coexist. 原有建筑因窗户狭小导致采光不足，层高较低且室内昏暗、通风不畅。设计师通过外立面改造和垂直空间动线的突破性设计，解决了这些问题：拆除欧式建筑繁复的装饰性线条与造型，打通连接一层和二层的楼板，释放部分空间打造露台。改造后的外立面选用现代系统门窗与环保外墙漆作为主材，摒弃冗余装饰，以简洁的形态强化建筑与环境的互动性，最终营造出流动的诗意空间。

                            


                            

                                
                                                                    

                                                                                                                    

                            

                        

                            

                                
The original structure suffered from inadequate daylight penetration due to narrow window apertures, compounded by low ceiling heights that created oppressive interiors with stagnant air circulation. Through a dual strategy of façade transformation and vertical spatial reorganization, the design team executed a tectonic intervention: stripping away superfluous European-style ornamentation, demolishing select floor slabs between levels to establish visual connectivity, and carving out terraces that dissolve indoor-outdoor boundaries. The revitalized envelope employs engineered fenestration systems and mineral-based exterior coatings, its pared-down geometry activating dynamic environmental dialogues. In the vertical circulation planning of the space, the designer removed the floor slab between the first and second floors, connecting the basement, first floor, and second floor through a void area to create an open social space; while the second to fourth floors serve as living quarters, achieving a layout that separates active and quiet zones. In terms of material selection, the designer primarily used a classic black and white color scheme, eschewing trendy accumulations to focus on matching the aesthetic taste of the homeowner. The third floor serves as the masters living quarters, thoughtfully designed with a reading nook in the rest area for the owners convenience. The space is adorned with a display cabinet showcasing the homeowners collection of artistic ornaments. The Edra Petal Chair, set against the backdrop of smoked oak wood veneer cabinetry, shines with dazzling brilliance. As the afternoon sun filters through the windows, dappled light dances across the wooden floor, creating a serene ambiance where time seems to linger and life flourishes in quiet elegance.

The basement level, designed as a social space, is divided into two main areas: a home theater and a wine tasting reception zone. The theater area is adorned with imported Italian art furniture, a curated selection of red wines and cigars, and paintings by young artists. The wine and cigar tasting area features a vibrant, translucent stone as the central material for the backdrop, complemented by a custom lighting system and artistic furniture to enhance the spatial ambiance and aesthetic tone.
