In 2025, Patina Hotels - Resorts opened its first city hotel in Osaka, Japan. In a city with a distinct rhythm and where history and the future converge, Patina Osaka was quietly born. Osaka is like an "urban oasis" that integrates architecture, art, nature and technology. The "urbanity" and the "sense of tranquility" blend together, creating a gentle and restrained contemporary connotation.

由日本建筑事务所Jun Mitsui - Associates设计建筑立面，Strickland操刀室内空间，这栋20层的高楼通过恰当的设计语言回应“水之都”大阪的城市记忆：幕墙宛若水面，铜、木、石、水等自然材质贯穿始终，细腻地诠释着日式“季节性”（Kisetsukan）的空间语言。

The building facade was designed by the Japanese architectural firm Jun Mitsui - Associates, and the interior space was handled by Strickland. This 20-storey high-rise building responds to the urban memory of "The Water City" Osaka through appropriate design language: The curtain wall is like a water surface, with natural materials such as copper, wood, stone and water running through it throughout, delicately interpreting the spatial language of Japanese "seasonality" (Kisetsukan).

“Patina”原意为“时间赋予物体的自然光泽”。设计师借助肌理、光影与材质的微妙互动，为酒店注入了关于“时间”与“感官觉醒”的主题概念。低调而富节奏的金属网与玻璃组合构成立面，使建筑在光的流转间具有丰富层次，模糊街道与建筑的边界，打造如水般柔和的过渡体验。

"Patina" originally means "the natural luster bestowed upon an object by time". Design injected the theme concept of "time" and "sensory awakening" into the hotel through the subtle interaction of texture, light and shadow, and materials. The facade is composed of a low-key yet rhythmic combination of metal mesh and glass, endowing the building with rich layers as light flows through, blurring the boundary between the street and the building, and creating a smooth transition experience like water.

Patina Osaka围绕“能量的自然流动”而展开。访客从一层的植物系餐厅Roots进入，泥土色调、在地蔬果、可食花园，以视觉与味觉唤醒身体知觉；与传统大堂不同，酒店将前台服务设置于顶层的社交区，由调酒吧与黑胶赏鉴区共同构成了一处城市会客厅，人与人、音乐与能量在此自由互动。

Patina Osaka unfolds around "the natural flow of energy". Visitors enter from the plant-themed restaurant Roots on the first floor. The earthy tones, local fruits and vegetables, and edible garden awaken the bodys senses through vision and taste. Unlike the traditional lobby, the hotel has set up the front desk service in the social area on the top floor. The cocktail bar and the vinyl appreciation area together form a city living room where people, music and energy interact freely.

Patina Osaka携手知名街头艺术家Verdy推出融合大阪文化的限量周边系列，并由声音艺术家 Devon Turnbull (OJAS) 打造高保真的 “The Listening Room”黑胶聆听室，将音乐体验提升至“沉浸式声音建筑”的艺术层面。

Patina Osaka has collaborated with renowned street artist Verdy to launch a limited-edition peripheral series integrating Osaka culture, and The high-fidelity "The Listening Room" vinyl listening room has been created by sound artist Devon Turnbull (OJAS). Elevate the music experience to the artistic level of "immersive sound architecture".

顺着一段螺旋楼梯缓步而下，即可抵达更为私密的法式餐厅与茶廊。在这里，建筑成为感官的延伸：木饰面、柔和光线与具有当代性的选品建立对话，让人短暂远离城市，回归内在的宁静。

Descending slowly along a spiral staircase, you will reach a more private French restaurant and tea lounge. Here, architecture becomes an extension of the senses: wood veneer, soft light and contemporary selection establish a dialogue, allowing people to briefly escape the city and return to inner tranquility.

整栋酒店拥有221间客房与套房，全部朝向城市景观。室内融合现代美学与和式哲学：原木、铜饰与榻榻米共同营造出一个“可变空间”——既可冥想、也可品茶、健身、甚至游戏，回应当代旅人多样化的空间需求与生活方式。

The entire hotel has 221 guest rooms and suites, all facing the city view. The interior integrates modern aesthetics with Japanese philosophy: raw wood, copper ornaments and tatami MATS jointly create a "variable space" - one that can be used for meditation, tea tasting, fitness and even games, responding to the diverse spatial needs and lifestyles of contemporary travelers.

酒店的每一层都围绕“土地的记忆”展开叙事，以铜、木、土、水为灵感构建材质语言，层层递进，编织出一场有着情感温度的空间序列。

Each floor of the hotel unfolds its narrative around the "memory of the land", drawing inspiration from copper, wood, earth and water to construct a material language. Layer by layer, it weaves a spatial sequence with emotional warmth.

Patina Spa占地约1400平方米，将最前沿的健康科技理念与东方疗愈智慧融合。房间中的健康模块和公共空间中的能量感应系统相协调，仿佛开启了一段由内而外的“意识觉醒”之旅，为奢华酒店带来更为深刻的生命体验。

Patina Spa covers an area of approximately 1,400 square meters and integrates the most cutting-edge health technology concepts with the wisdom of Eastern healing. The health modules in the rooms are in harmony with the energy-sensing systems in the public Spaces, as if embarking on a journey of "consciousness awakening" from the inside out, bringing a more profound life experience to the luxury hotel.

Patina Osaka不仅是继马尔代夫之后的第二家Patina酒店，更是首次进入城市里的一次试验性实践。在这座属于大阪、也属于全球都市生活者的“感官庇护所”中，建筑师、设计师与艺术家携手，以克制、细腻且充满生命意义的方式，重塑“都市酒店”的另一种可能。

Patina Osaka is not only the second Patina hotel after the Maldives, but also an experimental practice of entering the city for the first time. In this "sensory sanctuary" that belongs to Osaka and also to urban residents around the world, architects, designers and artists join hands to reshape another possibility of "urban hotels" in a restrained, delicate and life-filled way.
