As we spend more time within the walls of our homes, we’ve come to realize they are more than just structures of wood and brick — they are vessels that hold our deepest love, joy, and sorrow. That’s why spaces imbued with authenticity, originality, and creativity matter now more than ever.

This 230㎡ riverside residence was designed for a couple working in the fashion industry — a sanctuary for themselves and their family. Their refined sense of beauty and deep love for life quietly blossom within this home. What we set out to create was not merely a living space, but a container that balances function and feeling, ritual and the everyday.

The riverside landscape infuses the home with expansive views and a sense of fluidity. Favoring openness and transparency, the homeowners inspired a “subtractive” design approach — minimizing the visual weight of fixed elements. Through an integrated living-dining layout and ample concealed storage, we created a clean, restrained, and freely breathing spatial foundation.

What’s hidden goes beyond storage — it includes the very boundaries of the space itself. Frameless doors, recessed television panels, and built-in cabinetry allow order to settle quietly into the flow of daily life.

Touches of black wood veneer, symmetrical layout, and fine black lines bring a subtle sense of vintage sophistication. French softness and Chinese restraint meet in the details — a quiet interplay that gives the space deeper aesthetic resonance.

The dining room features a full-height sideboard wall, where the homeowners’ collection of tableware gathered from travels around the world is both beautifully stored and quietly displayed — practical, yet poetic.

Warmth, Felt Through the Details

The homeowner says，“There must be fresh flowers at home every day.Its a long-standing habit she has kept for years,a gentle ritual that brings warmth and grace to her everyday life.

壁灯来自SINGCHAN，落地灯来自FLos，沙发、扶手椅和茶几均来自Cassina。

With warm, restrained finishes as the foundation, the soft furnishings naturally become the emotional expression of the space. From the marble dining table to the sculptural sofa, from a single cup to a wisp of fragrance, the softness of home is found not in grand gestures but in the quiet poetry of details.

The meaning of home lies in every thoughtfully curated corner: a fairytale-like daughter’s room, shared sauna and pet space, a study that doubles as a guest room, a refined walk-in closet, and a bathtub for quiet reflection.

In the vision of One Fine Day Studio - Partners, a home transcends its physical structure to become an expression of lifestyle and emotional belonging. Through the of home series, the team channels years of expertise and a distinctive design ethos into spaces that reflect the individual dreams of their residents. This project is a testament to that philosophy—where understated design embraces daily memories, and every corner tells a story of life unfolding.
