Nestled in the village of San Cassiano in Italy’s Dolomites—a UNESCO World Heritage site surrounded by majestic peaks—Aman Rosa Alpina offers a sanctuary of seclusion and serenity. Formerly the historic family-run Hotel Rosa Alpina, which operated for more than eight decades, the property was reimagined under the Aman brand in 2023. While preserving the authentic warmth of Ladin culture, the redesign introduces a restrained, minimalist aesthetic that redefines Alpine living. This harmonious blend of local heritage and contemporary sophistication presents a fresh vision of modern mountain retreat—one that honors tradition while embracing a globally informed, serene simplicity.

Since the 1940s, this family-run hotel has been owned by the Pizzinini family. Through three generations of stewardship, the younger members continue to infuse it with vitality. A pivotal shift began with the deep friendship between Hugo Pizzinini and Vlad Doronin, owner of the Aman Group. In 2020, they joined forces to create a retreat that honors the warm hospitality tradition of South Tyrol while integrating Aman’s signature philosophy of tranquility. Rebranded as Aman Rosa Alpina, the hotel maintains the brand’s distinctive serene atmosphere while reinterpreting Alpine living through a contemporary design language. Notably, Hugo Pizzinini and his wife Ursula, who guided the hotel’s growth over decades, still reside on the upper level of the property and remain involved in its daily operations—preserving a profound connection between the family’s spirit and the hotel’s enduring legacy.

此次改造由Denniston Studio的Jean-Michel Gathy主理，他也是安缦旗下多座标志性酒店的设计师。他以标志性的浅色橡木、石材、玻璃与和谐比例营造出清爽通透的室内氛围，开阔明亮的布局进一步强化了空间的呼吸感。大堂中，多个壁炉、宽大舒适的沙发与南蒂罗尔艺术家布里吉特·尼德迈尔创作的艺术挂毯共同构筑了温暖而雅致的抵达场景。

The project was led by Jean-Michel Gathy of Denniston Studio, the visionary behind many of Aman’s landmark properties. Employing his characteristic palette of light oak, stone, and glass, along with balanced proportions, he has shaped an interior that feels both crisp and luminous. The open, airy layout amplifies this lightness, reinforcing a serene and breathable quality. In the lobby, a curated ensemble of fireplaces, ample sofas, and an art tapestry by South Tyrolean artist Brigitte Niedermair welcomes guests into a setting that is at once refined and warmly inviting.

大堂休憩区围绕温暖的壁炉展开，木质结构与石材地面营造出山间木屋般的围合感。这里不仅提供熏火腿、佛卡夏与素食小食，更通过开阔的窗景将室外山色引入室内，形成内外交融的休憩场景。酒柜巧妙嵌入石墙之中，藏有从雷司令到勃艮第的精选酒款，在粗犷与精致之间达成平衡。

The lounge area in the lobby centers around a warm fireplace, with wooden structures and stone floors creating the cozy, enveloping feel of a mountain cabin. Here, guests can enjoy cured ham, focaccia, and vegetarian bites, all while taking in the panoramic mountain views framed by expansive windows—blurring the boundary between indoors and out. A wine cabinet is discreetly set into the stone wall, housing a curated selection of wines from Riesling to Burgundy, striking a harmonious balance between rustic charm and refined elegance.

酒店内还设有5间各具特色的餐厅与酒吧，在融合多洛米蒂山野精神与安缦宁静美学的同时，为宾客带来从本地风味到全球珍馐的多元体验。空间设计以自然对话为核心理念，通过大面开窗、原生材质与光线的细腻处理，将阿尔卑斯山景深度融入室内场景。无论是可赏炭火跃动的The Grill、昼夜光影流转的Il Salotto，还是藏酒如博物馆的Di Vino Room，每个场所均以独特的材质叙事与布局逻辑，构建出兼具私密感与开放性的体验场域。饮食不仅是味觉之旅，更是一场与山、与光、与时间并行的空间仪式。

The hotel also features five distinctive restaurants and bars, offering guests a diverse culinary journey from local flavors to global delicacies—all while harmonizing the wild spirit of the Dolomites with Aman’s tranquil aesthetic. The spatial design is centered on dialogue with nature, achieved through expansive windows, indigenous materials, and nuanced light treatments that seamlessly blend Alpine scenery into the interior environment. Each venue—whether it be The Grill with its dancing charcoal flames, the Il Salotto lounge where light shifts from day to night, or the Di Vino Room curated like a wine museum—creates a unique experiential realm that balances intimacy and openness through tailored material narratives and thoughtful layouts. Here, dining transcends taste to become a spatial ritual—one shared with the mountains, the light, and the passage of time.

Heritage Room

Heritage Room拥有整面落地窗，清晨阳光轻柔洒入，与柔和的木饰面、棉麻织物共同营造出通透宁静的早餐氛围。空间布局疏朗有致，延续酒店“少而精”的理念，本地酸奶、林茨蛋糕等食物以简约方式呈现在石制台面上，与窗外的多洛米蒂山峦形成静默对话。

The Heritage Room features a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing the soft morning light to flood the space. Paired with warm wood finishes and linen-cotton textiles, the room evokes an airy, tranquil atmosphere perfectly suited for breakfast. The layout is intentionally spacious and refined, reflecting the hotel’s “less is more” philosophy. Local yogurt, Linzer torte, and other morning offerings are presented simply on stone countertops, engaging in a quiet dialogue with the majestic Dolomite peaks just beyond the glass.

The Grill

The Grill以深色木材、粗犷石材及开放式厨房为核心。柴火烤炉成为空间的视觉焦点，炭火光影在石墙上跃动，烘托出质朴而温暖的用餐氛围。长桌与私人餐区通过半高的石砌隔断区分，既保持空间的连贯性，又赋予每桌适度的私密感。

The Grill restaurant is defined by dark wood, rugged stone, and an open kitchen. A wood-fired oven serves as the visual centerpiece, with the flickering glow of charcoal flames dancing across the stone walls, enhancing the rustic yet warm dining atmosphere. Long communal tables and more private dining areas are subtly divided by half-height stone partitions, maintaining an open flow throughout the space while offering a sense of intimacy at each table.

Bar 酒吧

Il Salotto拥有挑高空间与整面山景窗，日间光线充沛，是阅读与咖啡的理想场所。入夜后，灯光调暗，空间转化为温馨的酒吧。原有钢琴得以保留，钢琴师三十年如一日在此演奏，温暖的琴声与深色皮质沙发、复古灯具共同构成具有时间厚度的社交场景。

Il Salotto features a double-height ceiling and a full wall of windows framing the mountain landscape. Bathed in abundant natural light during the day, it offers an inviting setting for reading and enjoying coffee. As evening falls, the lighting softens, transforming the space into an intimate bar. The original piano remains in place, played nightly by a pianist who has performed here for over thirty years. The warm notes, paired with deep leather sofas and vintage lighting, come together to create a social atmosphere enriched by a sense of timeless tradition.

Di Vino Room

Cigar Lounge

Di Vino Room以深色木制酒架、柔和的聚焦灯光营造出窖藏般的私密感，逾两万瓶藏酒成为空间中最强烈的视觉元素。与之相连的Cigar Lounge通过落地窗将室外森林景观框成动态壁画，深色皮革家具、金属细节与窗外自然形成材质对话，满足私密品鉴与景观沉浸的双重需求。

The Di Vino Room creates a cellar-like intimacy with its dark wooden wine racks and softly focused lighting, where a collection of over 20,000 bottles forms the most striking visual feature. Connected to the Cigar Lounge, the space incorporates floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the surrounding forest like a living mural. Dark leather furnishings and metallic accents engage in a subtle dialogue with the natural world outside, satisfying the dual desires for private tastings and immersive landscape appreciation.

Enju

Enju于冬季开业，以浅色木材、宣纸屏风与石制餐台打造出静谧的日式涮涮锅体验区。空间布局极具仪式感：每个餐位均面向开放式备餐台，厨师操作成为用餐体验的视觉核心。灯光设计细腻柔和，突出食材质感，在阿尔卑斯山环境中营造出一方凝神静气的东方美学场景。

Opening in winter, Enju presents a serene shabu-shabu experience with its light-toned wood, paper screens, and stone dining counters. The layout carries a distinct sense of ritual: each seating area faces the open preparation counter, placing the chef’s craftsmanship at the heart of the dining experience. Soft, refined lighting highlights the texture and quality of ingredients, creating a contemplative Eastern aesthetic within the Alpine setting.

水疗中心坐落于多洛米蒂山脉的苍翠松林间，以阿尔卑斯传统为灵感，巧妙融合当地特色疗法与先进康体设施，构建出涵盖水疗、泳浴与定制疗愈项目的完整体验，营造出沉浸于山野自然的疗愈场域，宾客可在清新山气中畅泳，也可依个人需求开启专属调理旅程，旨在修复身心、激发活力，于雄伟自然中寻得内在和谐与平衡。

Nestled within the lush pine forests of the Dolomites, the spa draws inspiration from Alpine traditions, artfully blending local healing therapies with advanced wellness facilities. It offers a holistic experience encompassing spa treatments, swimming, and bespoke wellness programs, creating an immersive sanctuary deeply rooted in the mountain landscape. Guests can swim in the crisp alpine air or embark on a personalized wellness journey designed to restore the body, energize the spirit, and find harmony and balance amidst the grandeur of nature.

The spa features two swimming pools—one for families and another for adults—including an outdoor heated infinity pool and a whirlpool that both command majestic mountain views. The wellness area is equipped with a sauna, Turkish bath, and an invigorating ice bath. Each treatment room includes a private bathroom and offers body therapies infused with lavender and sweet orange essential oils, accompanied by Indian chanting and Ayurvedic music to guide guests into a state of profound relaxation.

Aman Rosa Alpina offers 51 guest rooms and suites, embodying Aman’s philosophy of understated luxury. The spaces are defined by a soft colour palette, complemented by clean-lined furniture, natural stone, and light-toned wood, creating a warm yet restrained mountain ambiance. Each accommodation features a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame breathtaking views of the Dolomites, with select room types also including a bathtub positioned to enjoy the scenery. Every category of room takes inspiration from the landscape and expresses itself through materials, achieving a harmonious balance of function, comfort, and the poetic spirit of the Alpine wilderness through refined design.

Deluxe Room豪华客房

酒店客房以柔和的色调、天然石材与浅色木材营造出温暖简约的山居氛围，每间均配备壁炉、落地窗与可赏山景的浴缸。设计兼顾人体工学与视觉流动，从柔软床品、全天然洗浴用品到可穿行于酒店内的舒适拖鞋，细节之中尽显安缦特有的细腻关怀。窗外是多洛米蒂山脉的四季画卷，室内是克制冷淡的安缦美学，两者在此达成宁静的共生。

The hotel’s guest rooms create a warm and serene alpine atmosphere with soft tones, natural stone, and light-toned wood. Each room is equipped with a fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a bathtool that offers views of the surrounding mountains. The design thoughtfully balances ergonomics and visual flow, with details such as plush bedding, all-natural bath amenities, and comfortable slippers meant to be worn throughout the property—all reflecting Aman’s signature attention to care. Outside, the Dolomites unfold like a living canvas of the seasons; inside, Aman’s restrained yet intimate aesthetic prevails, resulting in a tranquil coexistence between landscape and living space.

套房在延续整体设计语言的基础上，进一步拓展了空间与景观的对话维度。Dolomites Suite坐拥360度山景与私人户外芬兰桑拿浴室，将自然直接引入起居体验；Aman Suite以158平方米的体量配置两间带独立卫浴的卧室、宽敞露台及滑雪管家服务，兼顾家庭出行的功能与隐逸感。Zeno Suite设独立花园与影音室，Rosa Alpina Suite则可通过灵活组合适应团体入住。每种套房皆以不同方式演绎“窗景－材质－功能”的三角关系，在静谧中展开层次丰富的山居叙事。

Building on the overall design language, the suites further expand the dialogue between space and landscape. The Dolomites Suite offers 360-degree mountain views and a private outdoor Finnish sauna, bringing nature directly into the living experience. The Aman Suite, spanning 158 square meters, includes two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious terrace, and ski concierge service, balancing functionality for families with a sense of seclusion. The Zeno Suite features a private garden and a media room, while the Rosa Alpina Suite can be flexibly configured to accommodate groups. Each suite interprets the relationship between view, material, and function in its own distinct way, unfolding a richly layered narrative of mountain living within a framework of quiet luxury.
